Andama na imung payong kay wa pa kay “Oppa” nga mupayong nimo…

According to PAGASA Visayas, signs of the habagat are already showing, especially sa atong mga hapon nga mukalit la’g uwan. Clouds are building up faster, and the usual init-then-uwan pattern is getting more frequent. We’re not officially in the rainy season yet, pero duol na kaayo ta.

For now, we’re still under transition mode and the PAGASA shared that they need five straight days of significant rainfall, at least 25mm, to officially declare that the rainy season has started. Local weather stations say Cebu and Bohol will see more scattered thunderstorms starting Tuesday, June 3. In addition, areas prone to floods and landslides need to be extra alert. They’re urged to clear the canals and drainage as early as now.

  • Cebu City – Afternoon thunderstorms for most of the week; highs of 29–31°C.
  • Tagbilaran – Hot and humid with on-and-off thunderstorms; highs of 31–33°C.
