Once in San Jose, continue by car or motorcycle to the municipality of Loreto on the island’s eastern side. The drive to Sangay Beach may include a few rough roads, so a sturdy vehicle or a local guide is recommended for a smooth trip.
  • By Commute
: From Surigao City’s bus or van terminal, take a short ride to the port and board a public ferry to San Jose, Dinagat Islands. Upon arrival, rent a motorbike (habal-habal) or join a shared tricycle heading to Loreto. From the town proper, locals can easily point you toward the direction of Sangay Beach. The journey may be a bit rugged, but it rewards travelers with stunning views and a peaceful seaside escape at the end.
