Flowers aren’t only for women. There’s a newly opened flower farm in South Cotabato that will tell us everyone is bound to fall in love with flowers especially when there’s a sea of them.
Celerio’s Celosia Flower Farm in Tupi, South Cotabato is a sight to behold. It boasts a mesmerizing hectares of colorful celosia flowers perfect for your next Instagram update. The entire seabed of flowers is painted with vibrant and rich bright yellow, pink, and orange colors.
The farm only grows one kind of flower – the Celosia. The flowers here were planted in a congested manner. From afar they look like huge bunches of flowers that gleams with bright colors under the sun, drawing lots of people for photo ops.
Celosia flowers are also known as woolflowers or cockscombs. They feature flame-like flower heads that bloom once a year and displays strikingly attractive colors. The flowers here are all naturally grown and was brought from Malaysia. Planting starts in October and by January, most of the flowers are already in full bloom.
Because of its picture-perfect view, Celerio’s Celosia Flower Farm is now becoming a favorite spot for prenup, debut and other types of photoshoots. The place makes a colorful backdrop.

Aside from taking pictures, you can just also enjoy the day by walking around. The farm also offers boating and fishing of tilapia fish since it has two small ponds inside. You can do boating and tilapia fishing for a small amount of price.

As of writing, the farm is closed due to some upgrade and re-planting. They will just post updates on Facebook for the reopening date.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: Purok 10, Poblacion, Tupi, South Cotabato, Mindanao
BY COMMUTE: Ride a tricycle from General Santos City to the drop off point of Celosia Flower Farm in Tupi, South Cotabato. It’s a 25 minutes motorcycle ride. From the highway, you can do a 125-meters walk to the farm or you can take a ride by tricycle from the highway to the farm for only P10.
BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Bajunid Street” in Tupi, South Cotabato. Parking space is available.
