A 4.3-magnitude earthquake was recorded early morning today, June 5, 2020 in Davao Occidental by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).

Several places across the Philippines have been hit with quakes recently. One of the strongest recorded by Phivolcs was the 7.1 magnitude earthquake in Davao Oriental.

At 05:53 AM today, June 5, Sarangani was hit by the 4.3 magnitude earthquake.

According to Phivolcs, the quake that hit a part of Davao Occidental was located at 02.14°North, 126.97°East – 400 km South 24° East of Sarangani. The quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 010 kilometers.
