Now that flights have been cancelled, even domestic, we are left with prayers and hopes for everything to be how it used to be. We’ve been so eager to travel and unwind. To experience the cool breeze, maybe. But, you need not to go to Luzon to visit Baguio for that cool breeze.
If you’re from Misamis Oriental, you probably have heard of the “Little Baguio.” Aptly named as such, the Matampa Pine Trees Park has been the home of a cluster of pine trees.
Located in Brgy. Matampa in Salay, Misamis Oriental, you can never really go wrong if all you ever want is to get that feel of Baguio. This even gives the ‘vibes’ of Taylor Swift’s latest album, Folklore.
As of writing, it is still closed to the public because of the pandemic. Luckily, reports say that they will be re-opening on August 1, 2020.
