North Cotabato might not be making so much noise when it comes to tourism but when it does, it screams with grandness.

Situated in the hilly parts of Magpet, North Cotabato, Sitio Maupot Family Resort offers everyone a relaxing retreat in the heart of nature. This Bali-inspired resort stands proud in front of a panoramic view of verdant hills and Mt. Apo’s peak. It is best enjoyed with family, barkada, or with your partner.

The cool breeze and the majestic sight from the resort’s viewing deck promise a day free from stress. Its laidback feels make the place the best spot for those who are seeking an intimate ambience that they can savor. You wouldn’t really find places like this in the metro, so staying here feels like a refuge from the busy city lifestyle.

The overnight accommodation might be a little costly, but Sitio Maupot Family Resort gives you the best value for your money. It comes with beautiful aesthetics, spacious beds, hot and cold shower, AC unit, and a television. Your reservation has free breakfast, mineral water, coffee, and vanity kit (bath soap, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, pair of slippers).

The place is also complete with amenities to give you a hundred percent satisfaction during your stay. First on the list is their infinity pool where you can spend hours swimming while also soaking yourself with the awesome view of Mt. Apo from the pool. They also have a separate regular pool for those who availed for their Day Use Tour.

Their heated Jacuzzi, a sauna below the infinity pool and the massage area will give your refreshing experience a boost. Their friendly staff is also a plus.

The peace and the serenity, plus the cuddly atmosphere are all worth it, if not priceless. Here, every weary soul who is up for a rejuvenating experience will be greeted with nothing but pure North Cotabato hospitality and an amazing scenery.

Accordingly, the resort is named as Sitio Maupot to give it an ethic cultural aspect. It has also become a conversation piece among those who got curious about the name. Maupot, the original name of Magpet, was where the Manobo tribe would gather together and feast on their “linupot”, a packed meal wrapped in banana leaves prepared during festivals and other tribal celebrations. However, lexicographers got the spelling wrong when they registered the name in Malacanang, writing Maupot as Magpet.
