One of the biggest projects of Governor Arthur Yap’s administration, the Bohol Arena, is set to rise in Brgy. San Roque, Talibon, Bohol.
After meeting with the municipal officials of Talibon and Mayor Janet Garcia, it was announced that the construction of the phase 1 of the said project is yet to start, which has an estimated cost of P200-million.
This is a multi-purpose arena for it could serve a venue for big events, sports activities, and even as an evacuation center during calamities. Athletes would be able to play basketvall, wrestling, badminton, fencing, gymnastics, and table tennis among others.
Furthermore, guv also announces the Northern Bohol Bulk Water Project which is set to build a 19-meter in height and 20-meter in width dam in Brgy. Sikatuna, Talibon.
The dam has an estimated cost of P480-million which could potentially help the 14 barangays of Talibon, including Bien Unido and Trinidad.
