Here’s a treat for cold spring lovers and beach enthusiasts!
In a place tucked in the town of Valencia is a wonder where the cold waters of a natural spring meet the warm waters of the sea.
Along the southeastern edge of this coastal town is Badiang Spring, a refreshing cascade of water that runs mesmerizingly into the Bohol Sea.
What makes the spring stand out is both its origin and runoff. The flow runs over a tiny cliff before finding its way into the sea, creating an attractive waterfall. This water comes from underground, so it’s guaranteed to remain icy cold and sharply revitalizing!
Badiang Spring happens to be a favorite destination of the locals, and it’s no doubt thanks to the unique experience of being able to experience bathing under the fresh spring water falls and swimming In the crystal-clear waters of the beach just a few paces apart.
Presently, local developments have been placed to make the accommodation better suited for visiting guests and tourists.
A resort has been built around the spring, featuring a swimming pool and easily accessible cottages and huts can be rented in the area. It has turned out to be a great place for a vacation or a quick holiday.
Heading over to the beach, it’s a coastline made of smooth round stones and clear waters. It might not be the white sand, but it’s a wonderful place to swim and snorkel in.
