Panglao is a world-class destination filled with countless natural wonders. Sparkling white sand beaches, cascading waterfalls, wondrous caves are all waiting to be explored by the outside world. Even the world-famous Chocolate Hills are accessible from here.
Panglao Island’s international acclaim doesn’t stop at its natural attractions. The island is also rich with otherwise man-made destinations that are just as worthy of the world’s attention!
Let’s take a look at MIST, a forest-inspired restaurant serving gourmet food with international standards.
Where cozy and classy blend
MIST welcomes guests and visitors to dine in their high-end forest-themed dining area. The interior is a combination of classy and comfortable all set in the peaceful outskirts of Panglao.
Every space in the restaurant is intricately designed with a careful selection of colors and materials that says “laidback” and “fine dining” equally. And while the restaurant is big with 3 stories, you’re sure to be cozy and relaxed in any corner of the building.
Let loose in their creative assembly of natural elements and sleek modern designs and get yourself ready for:
Worldwide cuisine made local
MIST offers a wide array of excellent food inspired by international cuisine. Their delectable dishes draw inspiration from Mexican, American, Italian, Indian, Japanese, and Thai cuisines which they display a graceful mastery of; including, of course, Filipino Food.
It’s a surprise that such an adept and versatile restaurant can be found so close to home. The cherry on top of it all is definitely the reachable price range; it’s hefty, but not as outrageous as other restaurants in its league. In the end, it’s all worth it!
MIST has established its presence, garnering positive reviews from thousands as they continue to cook top-class cuisine throughout their first anniversary as a restaurant.
Also just recently, the classy restaurant made its mark on the international culinary stage as it was recognized by Best of Gastronomie International, a worldwide Gastronomie Brotherhood for chefs and gourmets with chef schools across 10 countries and a masterclass in Paris.
The organization president, Georges Grunenwald, himself awarded MIST with “Maison De Qualité”, an award much coveted by chefs around the world, as the organization’s Chef Inspectors judged the restaurant to be of a particularly high standard.
