Chukoohills Café & Resto in Lantapan, Bukidnon is the newest head-turner in town. Since its opening last November 2020, the place has been swarmed with people who want to take a sip of what this place has to offer.
It didn’t disappoint them though. This café and resto is uniquely designed like a big and elegant bahay-kubo clad in carefully-picked bamboo materials. Since the place is made of wood, bamboo, and other indigenous building materials, we are guaranteed that our stay here is kind to the environment.
People also pay a visit in this place for a photoshoot. Its intricately designed furniture and fixtures that pay attention to even the minutest details – from straw mats to spiral staircases – make a good background for your next social media photo upload, prenup shoots, etc.
On top of that, it being a Filipino-themed cafe makes the experience feel like home.
But the beauty of the place isn’t just confined within its walls. Chukoohills Café and Resto is nestled in the middle of the breathtaking mountain ranges of Bukidnon. You can relax while eating your breakfast and sipping your coffee in the café. Its second floor and view deck boast an expansive view of the Bukidnon countryside and the Kalatungan mountains.
The food that this place offers comes in wide selection too. Their menu includes staple Filipino dishes such as pork sisig, lechon kawali, ginataan/tinolang manok, bulalo, sinigang, pinakbet and a lot more. They also have sweet desserts to choose from. Of course, their coffees (hot and iced) are ready at your disposal.
To further entertain its guests, Chukoohills Café and Resto invites performers every weekend for a fun-filled and chill dinner.

HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact location: Brgy. Kaatuan, Lantapan, Bukidnon, Mindanao – 3 hours away from Cagayan de Oro
BY COMMUTE: You can take direct flights from Cebu to Laguindingan Airport in Laguindingan, Misamis Oriental. From Laguindingan, you can take a van to Cagayan de Oro City’s Agora Bus Terminal. From there, ride a bus bound to Malaybalay City, Bukidnon. Once you’re in Malaybalay, take a jeepney to Lantapan proper then from Lantapan proper, ride a tricab to Chukoohills. Total estimated fare from CDO to Chukoohills is P400.
BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Chukoohills Cafe & Resto” in Lantapan, Bukidnon. Parking space is available.
