Octobers in South Cotabato are much more colorful especially when flowers in Eden’s Flower Farm start to bloom.

The five-hectare flower farm of Eden’s Flower Farm is some kind of a celebrity in South Cotabato and is the talk of the town every time October comes. And why wouldn’t it be when the scenic hills of Sitio Lemblisong turn the heads of tourists and residents to the vibrant colors of their Malaysian Chrysanthemums and other flowers.

Since it’s opening in 2014, this seasonal destination has been incessantly attracting a number of travelers to the flower fields and served as an addition to the lineup of the town’s booming flower industry.

Aside from being a wonderful sight to look at, Eden’s Flower Farm is actually a farm at its core. The chrysanthemums and other flowers that bloom during late October are sold, in high demand, during All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day – as well as other occasions where flowers are appropriate. There are also other plants grown in the farm such as strawberry and organic vegetables.

The cool breeze and serene atmosphere of the farm is surely, and quite literally, a breath of fresh air from the polluted streets and heavy air of the city.

Even without buying, the colorful views from the flowers make great backgrounds for selfies and groufies.
