Well, it seems like we’ve finally kept up with all the flying cars in the movies.

Or more specifically inspired by it as proven by former Philippine All Stars dancer Kyxz Mendiola and his electric-manned aerial vehicle (EMAV).

He awed the Baguio City officials and residents as he flew and did a quick spin around Melvin Jones, Burnham Park to celebrate Baguio Day Last September 1.

Days before this, Kyxz actually shared a pic of the unassembled EMAV for the public demo. Considering the size of it, it might not have been easy to bring it to Baguio.

This test drive/ demo flight by the inventor and Filipino innovator Kyxz Mendiola was done in that of the one-seat version while he was on a hoverboard. This drone-like hoverboard is also one of Kyxz inventions.

The EMAV was invented and developed together with his business partner, technology firm Star 8 Green, and they are now preparing to mass produce the flying car and hoverboard.

Now, you might think he might be an engineer or scientist or a student of one of the sciences programs but amazingly he is none of those. Kyxz took up business administration thinking he might eventually run his father’s biz. Life really is unpredictable for now he is an inventor.

Mind you, this one-seat version of the electric-manned aerial vehicle (EMAV) is ready for mass production according to the Baguio City Public Information Office. So, don’t be too shocked when you see flying humans on hoverboards and EMAV in the near future. And even more, those two- and four-seat models are already under development.
