But the food isn’t the only thing that makes your visit to this part of Panglao exciting. The ambiance of the place is already worth it. It depicts ‘fish storm’ as its theme. Upon entering the restaurant, it’s hard not to notice the beautiful ornaments designed like bubbles and schools of fishes hanging on the ceiling.  Accordingly, the best time to visit this place is in the afternoon, around 5PM, so that you can catch the ‘golden hour’ from there and witness how decorations sparkle from the natural sunlight that shines through them.

Lotus Storm is situated on the strip fronting the beach hence, you will be treated with a wide and stunning view of the sea and the white sand while you savor the food. Who wouldn’t want that? You can eat al fresco or inside the restaurant. The walls are also designed like scales of the fish to further highlight the restaurant’s theme.

This classic and modern restaurant started its operations in Boracay and was later brought to Bohol. They have two branches in Boracay and three branches in Bohol with one planned to become a resort soon.

Asian cuisines have always tickled the interests of the Filipinos with Chinese, Japanese, Indian, and Korean restaurants sprouting all over the country. HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact location: Moadto Strip Mall, Doljo, Panglao, Bohol

BY BUS: From the DAO Integrated Bus Terminal in Tagbilaran, take a Ceres Bus heading to Panglao. Once you’re in Panglao, you can ride on a tricycle going to Modala Strip Mall in Doljo, Panglao.

BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Lotus Storm” in Moadto Strip Mall, Panglao. Parking space is available.
