Marina’s Floating Cottage takes floating cottages to the next level with their bamboo rafts that are the size of a small function room. Picture a family reunion with relatives and replace the backgrounds with seaside views and you get Marina’s Floating Cottage. It can accommodate a large barkada or 2-3 families on its sturdy bamboo raft and give them the space to enjoy any celebration.

Marina’s Floating Cottage is perfect for those who just can’t get enough of the sea. Just like any floating cottage, it floats just several meters from the shore of Palompon, Leyte and allows everyone to enjoy a different side of the island.

On one side there is the endless view of the ocean and on the other are verdant sceneries and a blue sky connected to one another. Silhouettes of mountains in the island are visible from the shade of the native cottage on the bamboo raft.

Almost one-third of the bamboo raft is covered by the giant native cottage which also serves as the main room inside the raft. It comes complete with bamboo benches and a large table where friends and families can have a lively feast. The other parts of the bamboo raft are swimming pool cages that everyone can enjoy in the safety of the raft. One of the pool cages is a kiddie pool that is shallow enough for kids who don’t know how to swim to enjoy. The other pool is a large pool without a cage below that’s meant for the adults.
