There’s an eatery in Misamis Oriental that has stood the test of time – from serving its patriots with mouth-watering dishes to ‘wow-ing’ them with the trends of time.

Nita’s Place Eatery in Talisayan, Misamis Oriental has always been an oasis for those travelling the CDO-Butuan/Gingoog road since 1972. Several decades later, the place has remained to consistently satisfy everyone’s taste buds with their luscious home-cooked seafood meals – a perfect respite from the hours on the road.

But as they put it, one has to catch up with time. With the advent of social media these days, establishments have to make sure that they’re ‘on trend’ too so guests can find more reasons to enjoy their stay.

Nita’s Place Eatery is giving us all the reasons to drop by. The eatery is now famous not just with their food but with their IG-worthy backdrops. It has added several features perfect for photographs and selfies. The features are installed at the expansion area right next to the restaurant.

The expansion features beautiful breathtaking life-sized statues. They have a statue for a giant bird, a giant bird’s nest, cute Japanese bicycles and a lot more. The place had also put everyone in awe with their Christmas decors that sparkled brightly at night last December.

It also showcases the scenic Sipaka Heights in the background. Sipaka Heights is a hill that extends to the sea, with a spectacular view of the coastline, beaches, and the mountains of the province. It is a popular tourist and pilgrimage destination that’s only 2 hours away from Cagayan de Oro City.

Over the years, Nita’s Place Eatery never failed to treat its guests with tasty SuTuKil (Sugba-Tula-Kilaw) dishes made from fresh seafood catch. They have sumptuous local Filipino seafood meals too packed with flavorful ingredients.

When visiting the place, everyone is reminded to wear face mask AND face shield and follow the minimum health protocols set by the local government health unit.
