The island is slowly becoming known as the new hub for eco-oriented tourism in Western Visayas. Hidden away and left alone at the beach, you’d get to chill out on the sands, go island hopping Islas de Gigantes and Tumaquin Island, and eat rock oysters, and baskets of seafoods as it is one of the richest fishing and shellfish harvesting areas in the Philippines.

You can also enjoy snorkeling, kayaking, or biking through the island’s trails or trek with friends and family up Mt. Opao. And for those who find trekking not adventurous enough, there are adrenaline-filled activities such as cliff jumping, zipline, paragliding, and stand-up paddle-boarding.
