The Tamayong Prayer Mountain or also known as The Garden of Eden Restored is a haven of peace and relaxation and a paradise that feels like heaven, not in looks, but in sanctity and tranquility.

This mountain paradise is a property owned and managed by The Kingdom of Jesus Christ. It is nestled 10,311 feet above sea level, just by the foothills of Mt. Apo in Brgy. Tamayong. The property covers an area of 8 hectares or around 100,000 square meters. Suffice to say, Tamayong Prayer Mountain can be considered as a massive mountain park with tranquil surroundings that definitely make you feel closer to heaven.

Although owned by The Kingdom of Jesus Christ, the prayer mountain is not only open to those who share the same beliefs and religion with them. In fact, the prayer mountain welcomes anyone into the garden regardless of their religion, beliefs, or practices. The only limitation they impose on every visitor is the strict observance of their dress code: no sleeveless, no revealing clothes, no miniskirts, no shorts, and no slippers.

The construction of the Tamayong Prayer Mountain is an idea of Pastor Apollo C. Quiboloy, who also thought of naming the mountain “The Garden of Eden Restored”. It was constructed in 1999 and has been occupying the foothills of Mt. Apo since then. The structures within the property are inspired from European architecture and the gardens are inspired from the same as well. Even majority of the flowers that inhabit the gardens are not locally produced and were imported from all over the globe, which gives the gardens a unique and refreshing look.

The entire prayer mountain is filled with views that provide nothing but peace and other pleasing emotions to every soul that walks its gardens. As people amble along the gardens, soothing music plays in the background which makes the experience much more heaven-like for everyone.

Mini-fountains, man-made waterfalls, and other structures add to the charm of the mountain and makes you feel like you’re in an entirely different place. Overall, the Tamayong Prayer Mountain is nothing but heavenly and is definitely a great place to both relax and meditate.

There are L300s that are bound for Calinan so you can take any of those. Ask the driver to drop you off at the town center of Calinan. Upon arriving, you will need to find habal-habal or motorcycles for hire which are not that hard to find. Once you find a habal-habal driver, you may negotiate the fees with him to take you to Tamayong Prayer Mountain. If possible, ask him to wait for you because public transportation is rare in the mountain.
