Cruisin’ into 2022 safely in the new normal.

The coronavirus pandemic has caused so many disruptions in the past two years, including the postponement of our vacation trips here and abroad. But now that more people have been fully vaccinated and there are now safety health protocols in place, countries all over the world begin to ease up restrictions and open their borders for leisure travel even without quarantine.

Just in time that tourism is starting to pick up again, the International Travel Festival (ITF) 2022 holds the biggest three-day travel sale on February 18-20, 2022 at Ayala Center Cebu.

Score huge discounts from popular hotels and resorts in the Philippines and the biggest travel deals for local and international tours. Here are the participating establishments for ITF 2022:

CENTRAL VISAYAS TOURISM JOINS THE FESTIVAL

Support local. Travel local. There’s still so much to see and experience in the Philippines.

The Department of Tourism – Central Visayas (DOT-7) joins this year’s travel festival to show to the world that Cebu and the Central Visayas region (Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor) are definitely ready to welcome local and foreign tourists.

“After two years of having been virtually home-bound, ITF 2022’s theme ‘It’s Time to Travel’ is appropriate. Indeed, it’s time to travel, experience more of our mountains, farms, and lush forests, our beaches and the sea,”

Shahlimar Hofer Tamano, Regional Director of the DOT- Central Visayas.

A diverse range of activities to engage in and sites to explore – mountains, dive spots, cultural heritage sites, and other locations – will be showcased at the ITF 2022 Central Visayas Pavilion at The Gallery of Ayala Center Cebu (fronting Zara).

An initiative of the DOT-7 in support of the region’s industry players, the pavilion showcases key destinations and new circuits in Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, and Siquijor.
