“Mabubuhayan ka”

This is the official tagline for this unique bistro and café in Bacolod city that surrounds you with coffins.

Yes. Coffins. We all joke about dying due to too much coffee or miltea in our veins and alcohol of course so this one-of-a-kind themed bistro headed our jokes and actually puts death in your face.

Anyone who have a phobia for coffins should avoid this place as instead of tables and chairs or sofa, they have very comfortable coffins instead.

So you’ll have your sip of coffee literally leaning on a seemingly open coffin together with your friends. They have even set the mood lighting similar to what you see at wakes.

It has quickly risen to fame for its unique concept. The concept may have inspired from where it is located though as it is near a hospital and a funeral home.

It is an actual horror movie as regular guests include doctors, nurses, and those with businesses at both establishments.

This bistro may be small and quaint but it has a lot to offer from coffee drinks, teas and juice and of course the drink that will not be absent, milktea.

They also have snacks provided like buttered bread, nacho, fries, siomai, shawarma wrap or if you want a heavier meal, they have sisig, buffalo wings and rice meals for you to choose from.

To those who are feeling adventurous or just looking for another whole ambiance for your coffee or hangout then “nakakamatay sa sarap” Coffin Break Bistro is for you.
