The house itself has a modern interior design. With glass windows, waking up with an overlooking view of Davao is indeed a morning any stressed-out corporate slave would definitely need. With wooden bed, chairs and other furniture, these set pieces complement well with the modern and progressive vibe of the whole house.
Although the place has no Wi-Fi, some networks are capable of having signals to some areas (but that should be fine, you are here for a break and that break includes a break from social media or from the Internet itself). The place has their own wide-screen TV, in case you really need technology to survive even in a remote area.
The jacuzzi and the swimming pools, both for adults and kids, is also a nice touch for a rest house that is located on mountaintop. The aesthetic design of the pools and the jacuzzi is also noted by the guests who have visited here as unique.
The amenities of the rest house include a kitchen all complete with utensils, rice cooker, refrigerator, electric kettle and water dispenser. HOW TO GET THERE?
Exact Location: Baganihan, Marilog District, Davao City, Philippines
BY BUS: Take a bus bound to Baganihan Barangay Hall if you are from Downtown Area. Average bus trip time is one and a half hours. Ask the driver or conductor to be dropped off at Sitio Katandungan, Barangay Baganihan, Marilog District, Davao City. Once you are there, you can ask the locals where Lopez Highlands is as you need to trek the mountaintop rest house for a few meters.
BY CAR: Navigate with Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Lopez Highlands” in Marilog District, Davao City. Parking space is available.
