On September 7, SM Supermalls Senior Vice President Engr. Bien Mateo, together with his team, visited Governor Aris Aumentado.
The visit was said to be regarding the establishment of SM Supermall, one of the PH’s largest conglomerates, in Tagbilaran City. With the opening of its branch in Bohol, Engr. Mateo said this will open 3,000 job opportunities for Boholanos.
SM Prime Holdings, Inc., purchased at least 7-hectares in Tagbilaran. SM Mall will be located near Camp Bernido in Brgy. Dao in Tagbilaran City.
“We are very happy to hear from the governor that we are welcome here in Bohol, investor friendly ang provincial government.. A big factor for us to really expedite for development in Bohol,”
said Mateo after his meeting with Gov. Aris Aumentado.
“I am happy we are welcome here in Bohol. We felt Bohol is business- friendly,”
he added.
On the other hand, Guv said: “With the construction of this SM, more employment will be created for our residents.”
SM Supermalls’ holding company, the SM Prime Holdings, Inc. develops, operates, and maintains shopping center spaces for rent, amusement centers, or cinema theaters in the Philippines and China.
