BY COMMUTE: Coco Grove Beach Resort is located in San Juan, which is very famous as one of the island’s tourist spots because of its beaches. Starting from Siquijor Pier, you can avail motorcycle taxis or habal-habal riders to take you directly to the resort for a fee. Alternatively, it is common in Siquijor Island to rent motorcycles if you intend to stay there for a few days. This is a great help if you intend to get around the island, including Coco Grove Beach Resort where motorcycle rental fees can range from P700.00 to P1,000.00.

BY TRICYCLE:  At the port, you can hire a tricycle to take you to San Juan. Tell the driver to drop you off at Paliton Beach.

BY MOTORCYCLE:  There are motorcycles or scooters available for rent in Siquijor. This is the best way to get around. You can follow google maps or you can head to Paliton Marin Sanctuary and turn right.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact location: Tubod, San Juan, Siquijor, Philippines.

BY BUS: From Cebu City, head to the South Bus Terminal and take the Ceres bus to Liloan Port. The bus should have signage for “Liloan Port” or “Bato via Oslob”. Tickets usually cost around ₱400 for a five-hour trip.

Once you get to the port, the bus will ride a ferry going to Larena, Siquijor. See below for Ferries departure schedule.

  • Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday: 2:00 AM

The buses will pass through Enrique Villanueva, Maria, Lazi, San Juan, and Siquijor. Tell the driver to drop you off at your chosen town and ride a tricycle to your final destination.

By Ocean Jet: You can travel by ocean jet (fast craft). They have daily schedules from Cebu-Tagbilaran-Siquijor. Once you arrive at the Siquijor port, you may rent a motorbike, van, or tricycle to go to Tubod, San Juan. The trip usually takes 20-30 minutes from the Siquijor port.
