Carnaza Island

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Carnaza Island Malapascua, Cebu, Philippines

By Commute: From Cebu City, head to the North Bus Terminal and take the route going to Maya Port in Daanbantayan. From there, hire a local boat going to Carnaza Island. Travel time is estimated between 2 to 3 hours.

By Car: Use navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Maya Port” in Daanbantayan. Follow the directions provided by the navigation app until you reach your destination

Aguinid Falls Beach Samboan

Exact Location: Barangay Tangbo, Samboan

Aguinid Falls is known for its lovely waterfalls, but nearby there is also a hidden beach. This beach in the town of Samboan is perfect for relaxing after visiting the falls as it is a peaceful pleace to unwind and enjoy.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Carnaza Island Malapascua, Cebu, Philippines

By Commute: Ride a bus from the South Bus Terminal going to Samboan and take a tricycle ride heading to Aguinid Falls. The beach is near the falls and can be reached via a short walk.

By Car: Use navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Aguinid Falls” in Samboan. Follow the directions provided by the navigation app until you reach your destination. 

Hermit Cove Aloguinsan & Hidden Beach, Aloguinsan

Hermit’s Cove is a secluded beach located in the town of Aloguinsan, about 60 kilometers from Cebu City. The beach is hidden in a small cove, with soft white sand and clear blue water. The local community takes care of the area, keeping it clean and beautiful. Hermit’s Cove is a great spot for a day trip, offering a peaceful environment to relax. Also in Aloguinsan, Hidden Beach is another secret spot that lives up to its name. Surrounded by green trees and rock formations, this beach is perfect for those who want to escape the crowds. HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Kantabogon, Aloguinsan, Cebu, Philippines

By Commute: Ride a bus from the South Bus Terminal going to Aloguinsan. It can take between 2 to 3 hours to reach the drop-off point. From there, hail a tricycle that will take you to the hidden beach. You can even negotiate with the driver to have him fetch you at a certain time after your beach adventure.

By Car: Use navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Hermit Cove” in Aloguinsan. Follow the directions provided by the navigation app until you reach your destination.

Langub Beach, Malapascua Island

Malapascua Island is famous for diving and thresher sharks, but it also has a secret beach called ‘Langub Beach’ that you can reach by boat or by walking through a forest path. Langub Beach has fine white sand and calm, turquoise waters. It’s a wonderful place for some quiet time and enjoying nature.

HOW TO GET THERE?

Exact Location: Logon Malapascua Island, Cebu, Philippines

By Commute: From the North Bus Termination, take the route going to the Maya Port in Daanbantayan, then ride a boat going to Malapascua Island. The boat trip can take between 20 to 30 minutes. Upon your arrival, you can hire a motorcycle taxi to take you to Langub Beach.

Tingko Beach, Alcoy

Exact Location: Tingko Alcoy, Cebu, Philippines

By Commute: Ride the bus bound for Oslob and inform the driver to drop you off at Tingko Beach, Alcoy. Remember that Tingko Beach has multiple entrances. From  Cebu City, Tingko 1 will appear first. On the other hand, you can also take the V-Hire bound to Oslob if you prefer a more comfortable seating.

By Car: Use navigation apps like Waze or Google Maps and set your destination to “Tingko Beach” in Alcoy. Follow the directions provided by the navigation app until you reach your destination.
