The hit TV series, “The Chosen,” which centers on the life of Jesus Christ has announced its plans to translate the show in an astounding 600 languages! This is after several audiences shared how the show spoke more to them when it was dubbed in their own native tongue.

Created by filmmaker Dallas Jenkins, “The Chosen” is the first multi-season series about the life of Jesus, showing His ministry, miracles, and the impact He had on those around Him. Unlike traditional adaptations, the show highlights the stories on the lives of the individuals who met Jesus, as it explores their struggles, doubts, and transformations. Since its debut in 2017, the show garnered loyal fans globally, which made the team decide to make a move towards offering the show to a wider audience by breaking language barriers and going beyond the usual 50 languages. This effort aims to allow a deeper understanding of the teachings of Christ and promote values of love, compassion, and forgiveness across cultural differences.

As technology meets faith, it is becoming easier for ministries to reach more people and touch millions of lives with just a click of a button. There’s nothing else we need more in this grief-stricken world other than reminders of inspiration, steadfast faith, and love spoken in our own language.
