Maria is a kind wife and a mother who lived in a small village. Her husband worked hard, but they didn’t have much money. To help her family, Maria decided to work abroad as a maid and was assigned to take care of a sick old man. She worked diligently, hoping to earn enough money to send back home. But, one day while she was cleaning the old man’s room, Maria discovered something horrifying.

The old man was not just sick; he was an aswang, a mythical creature that preys on human flesh. Terrified, Maria tried to leave, but the old man caught her. He cursed her into becoming an aswang as well.

From that day on, Maria felt an uncontrollable hunger for human flesh growing inside her.

With no other choice, she fled back to her village, hoping to find a way for a cure.

When she returned home, her family was overjoyed to see her. They had missed their mother and welcomed her back. At first, everything seemed normal, but soon, strange things began to happen. Farm animals, dogs, and cats started to disappear and people in the village began to whisper about Maria’s strange behavior and the eerie look in her eyes.

Maria’s Insatiable Hunger

One night, Maria’s husband came home and found her cooking something strange. When he looked closer, he realized with horror that she was cooking their own children. The curse had taken over her body and she became an aswang, preying on her own family. In a fit of rage and despair, her husband grabbed a large knife and attacked Maria, leaving a deep scar on her face. She screamed in pain and fled into the night, disappearing into the darkness.

She was never seen again.
