So, like it’s hard?

She’s more than just a beauty, y’all.

Twice’s Tzuyu just opened up and announced her recent scholastic feat. The singer confirmed the circulating rumors that she had earned her master’s degree in Psychology through a fan call with X user @sorakonn. The rumor began after a flyer from her alma mater, Fuxing Elementary School in Taiwan, surfaced online. The flyer congratulated Tzuyu for earning a master’s degree in applied psychology from Spain’s Miguel de Cervantes European University.

The Twice member revealed that whenever she was free, she would go online and study. She also shared that she studied for more than a year for the said master degree. Aside from her academic achievement, Tzuyu also marked a new feat in her music career recently when she released her debut Extended Play (EP) Aboutzu in September. The lead single of the album titled “Run Away” became her first number one single on Billboard Taiwan Songs Chart.

Tzuyu also took part in the songwriting process for the final track of the album titled “Fly.” She said in an interview with NME that she thought it would be more meaningful if she could tell her story through the lyrics she wrote since it is her first album. She also went on on how inspired she was by the experiences and emotions I’ve carried from her childhood to where she is now.

Tzuyu also admitted that the songwriting process was challenging. “This time, it was pretty tough to go through the process of writing alone,” she admitted.

“It was a real challenge, putting the stories I wanted to tell, the feelings I wanted to convey into words. It didn’t come as naturally as I’d hoped, but I took my time to work through each line, looking up any words I found more difficult,” she added.
