On October 27, 2024, United Airlines made history by becoming the first American airline Boeing 737 Commercial Flight to land at Mactan-Cebu International Airport. This landmark event celebrates a significant milestone in the airline’s efforts to enhance global connectivity.
The inaugural flight from Narita, Japan to Cebu was a success, paving the way for new travel opportunities for Filipinos, and international visitors. This new route not only improves the travel experiences of locals but also opens the doors for increased tourism and cultural exchange. In addition, the send-off was met by a gathering of aviation and tourism industry experts and leaders.
