So relax, take a deep breath, prepare your gear, and let’s dive into the wonders beneath the waves. Dive! Dive! Dive!
Lapu – Lapu Sunken Jetski

Was it forgotten, lost in the waves, or left behind? Well, nobody knows. The sunken jet ski was spotted by a group of freedivers in Lapu-Lapu City; it was resting on the ocean floor and is now part of the marine landscape. Mother Nature has ways of reclaiming things—life does find a way.

The Guardians of Alegria

Next up! Alegria and its guardians were not sunken; they were erected. It is believed that these statues were created to warn off potential poachers in the area. Some say that the statue of Medusa was built to deter trespassers from doing harm in the waters of Alegria. You can also see Poseidon, the god of the seas, protecting the area, a Knights Templar standing proudly beneath the ocean floor, and a guiding and protective Mother Mary who watches over all the people who dive in the area, along with Buddha finding inner peace.

In Moalboal, there is another well-known diving spot where people can see a mermaid, known as Mermaid Point.
