A Challenging Trail

The trail stretches roughly 14.6 km out-and-back and takes approximately 14.5 to 15.5 hours to complete, though a two- to three-day itinerary is recommended for a more thorough experience. You’ll trek through dense, overgrown jungle encountering thorny plants, fallen trees which are a reminder of past typhoons, and sometimes precarious and slippery terrain. The final ascent is steep up to 60 to 90° slopes that require rope assisted climbing. Despite the challenges, the lush forest, rare flora, and dramatic rock formations along the way make the trek a true test of grit and spirit.
