How To Get There?

Location: Barangay San Joaquin, Macrohon, Southern Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines

  • Via Car: The drive from Tacloban City to Macrohon takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. From Macrohon town proper, proceed to Barangay San Joaquin, where Banahaw Spring is located. Ask locals and look for signage to guide you along the way.
  • Via Commute: Minivans or buses from Tacloban to Macrohon take about 4 hours, with fares ranging from ₱650.00 to ₱750.00. Once in Macrohon, ride a tricycle or habal-habal to Barangay San Joaquin. The spring is a local favorite so it’s not hard to find with local help.
