T’Daan Kini Falls is a multitiered waterfall with five to six tiny waterfalls that is situated in Barangay Lamlahak. The hike to the falls which winds through thick forests and via log bridges over gurgling rivers takes around forty five minutes. The trip provides insights into the T’boli community who are renowned for their artistic and woodcarving abilities.

The name “T’Daan Kini” translates to “cold and hot water” in the T’boli language reflecting the unique experience of immersing in its icy waters. Visitors often describe the sensation as invigorating, with the initial cold shock giving way to a refreshing calm.

How To Get There?

Location: Barangay Lamlahak, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines

  • By  Car: From Poblacion, Lake Sebu, drive toward Sitio Talubek in Barangay Lamlahak. The main jump off point to T’Daan Kini Falls. The road is rough but scenic, passing rice fields and forested areas. Once you reach the parking area, it only takes about a 10 to 15 minute walk to get to the falls.   
  • By Commute: From General Santos City, ride a bus or a van to Koronadal then transfer to another bus or a van bound for Surallah which takes 1 to 2 hours. From Surallah Integrated Public Terminal, take a van or a jeepney to Lake Sebu then hire a habal-habal going to Sitio Talubek in Barangay Lamlahak. The ride takes around 10 to 15 minutes followed by a short 10 to 15 minute walk to reach T’Daan Kini Falls.
