Campawan Curtain Falls which is affectionately called “Curtain Falls” is a striking natural wonder located in Barangay Campawan, Baganga, Davao Oriental. Its wide and graceful cascade resembles a silken curtain of white water drawing visitors into a tranquil and refreshing escape. Known as one of the widest waterfalls in the Davao Region, its beauty remains largely untouched and raw.

Stretching across a broad rock face, Curtain Falls presents a serene yet powerful sight that often reminds visitors of a scenic movie backdrop or stage prop. Though not the tallest, its width and gentle cascade make it an equally captivating spectacle beautiful in its simplicity.

Explorers get close enough to enjoy the cool splash which is a natural massage from the cascading water and even take a dip in the basin. Just tread carefully since the rocks can be slippery near the water’s edge.
How To Get There?
Location: Baganga, Davao Oriental, Mindanao, Philippines
- By Car: From Davao City, drive along the Mati to Baganga Road heading to Baganga. The trip usually takes around 6 to 7 hours depending on the traffic and road conditions. Once in Baganga town proper, head to Barangay Campawan where locals can guide you to the jump off area. From there, a short trek through the lush greenery will lead you to the Curtain Falls.
- By Commute: From Davao City, ride a bus or a van bound for Baganga which takes approximately 7 to 8 hours. Upon arrival at Baganga town proper, hire a habal-habal (motorbike taxi) going to Barangay Campawan. The ride takes around 30 minutes to an hour and from the drop off point, you’ll need to trek a short distance to reach the falls.
Despite being a lesser known location, Campawan Curtain Falls’ understated elegance and serene atmosphere make every visit incredibly unforgettable. The rhythm of nature slows down there allowing you to just be in the moment in tranquility, beauty, and wonder.
