Binaan Falls which is also known as “B’naan Falls” is characterized by its impressive cascade of water flowing over jagged rock formations creating a breathtaking sight for visitors. The falls are situated approximately 3.5 kilometers south of Buldon Municipal Hall that is nestled within the lush greenery of Barangay Karim. The surrounding area is rich in biodiversity with diverse flora and fauna enhancing the natural charm of the location.

Barangay Karim with a population of approximately 3,813 residents as of the 2020 census is known for its warm hospitality and community spirit. The local government has been actively promoting ecotourism initiatives to highlight the beauty of Binaan Falls while ensuring the preservation of its natural environment. Efforts are underway to improve accessibility and facilities for visitors making it a more welcoming destination for nature enthusiasts.

How To Get There?

Location: Sitio Tala-o, Barangay Karim, Buldon, Maguindanao Del Norte, Mindanao, Philippines

  • By Car: From Cotabato City, drive toward Buldon, Maguindanao del Norte. Once in Buldon, head for Barangay Karim and continue in Sitio Tala-o where the jump off to Binaan Falls is located. Private vehicles are highly recommended as the area is remote and road conditions may vary depending on the weather.  
  • By Commute: From Cotabato City, ride a van or a bus bound for Parang or Matanog and get off at the junction going to Buldon. From there, take a habal-habal heading to Barangay Karim then proceed to Sitio Tala-o where the trail to Binaan Falls begins. Since public transportation is limited, it’s best to coordinate with locals or guides for smoother access.
