Have you ever travelled to various countries? Do you need a lot of documents to enter their land? Well Indian nationals have it easier when they want to visit the Philippines.

Travelling to different countries has different requirements. From needing a visa, to printing banking documents, it all varies depending on the destination. Now the Philippines offer visa-free entry to Indian nationals starting on June 8, 2025, Indian nationals are now able to enter the Philippines without a visa.
In The Beginning…
Indian passport holders are able to stay for fourteen days and thirty days without a visa, if they follow the requirements below:


14-day Visa-Free Trial Card Stay:
- A passport valid for at least 6 months beyond their stay.
- Should have confirmed hotel accommodation or booking.
- They should provide proof of financial capacity.
- Present a return ticket to India to an onward ticket to another location.

30-day Trial Card Visa-Free stay:
- Indian nationals who possess valid visas or residence permits from countries like Japan, US, Canada, Schengen, Singapore, UK, or Australia can stay up to 30 days but their stay is not expandable.

- The visa-free stay is non-expandable and non convertible to other visa types. )Explain why
- Indian nationals must not have any record connected to derogatory issues with the Bureau of Immigration.
- If they are planning to transition, visit long term stays or planning on non-tourism activities, Indian nationals must apply for an appropriate visa at a Philippine Embassy or Consulate.

This move to allow Indian nationals to enter the Philippines visa-free shows the initiative to boost tourism and strengthen ties between India and the Philippines. With easier access, the exchange of cultural relations flourishes between the countries thus strengthening the bond.
