How To Get There?
Location: Tinuse Island, Sumisip, Basilan, Mindanao, Philippines
- By Car: From Isabela City, drive toward Sumisip via Basilan Circumferential Road. The trip takes around 2 to 3 hours depending on the road and traffic conditions. Once in Sumisip town proper, follow the local roads leading to Barangay Buli-Buli where the beach is located. Parking may be limited so it’s best to ask for locals for the nearest safe area.
- By Commute: From Zamboanga City, take a ferry to Isabela City, Basilan. From there, ride a van or a jeepney bound for Sumisip which usually takes 2 to 3 hours. Upon reaching the town proper, ride a habal-habal going to Barangay Buli-Buli where the beach is situated. If you are unsure of the drop off point, it’s best to ask for locals for directions.
