How To Get There?

Location: Santa Catalina, Negros Oriental, Visayas, Philippines

  • By Car: From Dumaguete City, drive south along the national highway toward Santa Catalina. The trip usually takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. Once in Santa Catalina, follow local directions or use the Google Maps or Waze pin to reach the nearest access point to Mantalaga Falls. Parking may be limited so be prepared for a short hike to the second level of the falls.
  • By Commute: From Dumaguete City, take a Ceres bus or van bound for Bayawan or Hinobaan and get off at Santa Catalina town proper. From there, take a habal-habal to take you closer to the trail leading to Mantalaga Falls. The ride can be rough and muddy during the rainy season so it’s best to go with an experienced local driver. A short trek is required to reach the second level of the falls.
