How To Get There?

Location: New Dapitan, Tampilisan, Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines

  • By Car: From Dipolog City, drive south along the national highway towards Tampilisan which takes around 2 to 3 hours. Once you reach the town proper, follow the road signs or ask locals for directions to New Dapitan where Jauculan Cave is located. The cave is accessible through Situbo Road which leads to various natural attractions in the area. Parking is usually available near the jump off point then followed by a short trek to the cave.
  • By Commute: From Dipolog City, take a bus or van bound for Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay, and get off at Tampilisan town proper. Travel time is about 2 to 3 hours. From there, you can hire a habal-habal going to New Dapitan and ask to be dropped off at the access road leading to Jauculan Cave. A short walk or trek is needed to reach the cave entrance.
