The project was officially announced on March 26 by the city government, with Mayor Eliordo Ogena at the forefront. Once completed, the Koronadal City District Hospital will house 200 beds and will be capable of accommodating more than 500 patients daily. It will offer a wide range of services that cater to various medical needs, from emergency care to specialized treatments. The hospital will be named Koronadal–Manuel C. Callejo Memorial Hospital, in honor of the late patriarch of the Callejo family, who generously donated to the project. This tribute reflects the family’s strong support for public service and healthcare development.

With this hospital, the city not only anticipates enhanced health services but also a brighter, healthier future for its people.
