Sachiko’s Little Kyoto is a delightful Japanese themed garden and food park that takes you to Kyoto without requiring a visa. It is located in the hills of Babag Uno in Busay, Cebu City. This hillside destination combines cultural peace and picturesque scenery in one peaceful location with its torii gates, koi ponds, stone lanterns, and Japanese food vendors.

The park is thoughtfully landscaped with Japanese elements like lovely winding trails surrounded by bamboo trees, a reclining Buddha statue, Hachikō and Maneki-neko figures, geisha themed displays and vibrant lantern lit Torii Gates. Together they evoke that peaceful Kyoto essence perfect for immersive strolls and Instagram moments.

Sachiko’s Little Kyoto provides a taste of Japan through gourmet food outside the garden. Ramen, gyoza, teriyaki, maki, and milk tea are served at food stands and a cafe so you may refuel with real flavors while taking in the scenery. The location is particularly atmospheric at sunset or golden hour.

  • Sachiko Little Kyoto is open from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M and on the weekends from 8:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. 
  • Adults must pay ₱60.00 to enter. ₱30.00 for children. 4ft below are free.  

How To Get There?

Location: Sitio Lamacan, Babag Uno, Cebu, Central Visayas, Philippines 

  • By Car: From Cebu City, drive towards JY Square Mall in Lahug. From JY Square Mall, take the Cebu Transcentral Highway going to Busay which is the same route leading to Temple of Leah and Tops. After passing the Temple of Leah, continue straight for around 5 to 10 minutes until you see the signage for Sachiko’s Little Kyoto on the left side of the road in Barangay Babag Uno. Parking is available inside the property but it can get full on weekends and holidays so it’s best to come early.
  • By Commute: Ride a jeepney or taxi to JY Square in Lahug. From JY Square, take a habal-habal going to Busay. Just tell the driver you’re headed to Little Kyoto or Sachiko’s Little Kyoto in Babag Uno. Fare usually ranges from ₱100.00 to ₱150.00 per person one way depending on the negotiation.
