How To Get There?
Location: Barangay Mina-a, Ibajay, Aklan, Panay, Western Visayas, Philippines
- Via Car: From Kalibo, drive west along the Aklan West Road toward Ibajay which takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on the road conditions. Once in Ibajay town proper, head towards Barangay Mina-a following the local road signs. Parking may be available near the jump off point after which a short trek is needed to reach the falls.
- Via Commute: From Kalibo, ride a bus or a van bound for Ibajay and ask to be dropped off to Ibajay town proper. From there, you can hire a habal-habal going to Barangay Mina-a. The driver will usually bring you close to the jump off point where you will need to trek a bit to reach Nawidwid Hydro Falls. If unsure, it’s best to ask locals in Barangay Mina-a for directions.
