How To Get There?

Location: Lantapan, Bukidnon within the Kitanglad Mountain Range, Mindanao, Philippines

  • By Car:  From Cagayan de Oro City, drive south toward Malaybalay City, then continue on to Lantapan which is the jump off point for Mt. Maagnaw. The drive typically takes around 3 to 4 hours depending on traffic and road conditions. 
  • By Commute: From Cagayan de Oro’s Agora Bus Terminal bound for Malaybalay City, then transfer to another bus or jeepney heading to Lantapan. Travel time from Cagayan de Oro to Lantapan is approximately 4 to 5 hours with fares around ₱230.00 to ₱490.00. From Lantapan, take a habal-habal (motorbike taxi) or local vehicle to reach the trailhead which takes about 1 to 2 hours, and make sure to agree on the fare in advance.
