Nakaadto na ka sa Simala?
Simala is a well-known destination for Catholic pilgrims and devotees on the island of Cebu. It features one of the most impressive architectural designs, captivating both designers and architects alike. The church is officially called the Monastery of the Holy Eucharist, though locals refer to it as Our Lady of Lindogon Shrine or the Simala Shrine.
Withstanding Changes Since 1998
The shrine was established in 1998 by the Marian Monks of Eucharistic Adoration from Pampanga and has since become a favored destination for devotees of Mama Mary. Its significance grew when the statue of the Lady of Lindogon reportedly shed tears, an event that many regarded as a miracle. From then, people suffering from illnesses began visiting the shrine seeking healing, as well as those in search of spiritual guidance.
