Saob Falls is hidden away in Barangay Balaquid, Cabucgayan, Biliran. It stands as the highest waterfall on the island rising an impressive 100 meters from its forest basin. Its name, “Saob,” comes from the Visayan word meaning “to fall off” which is a nod to the frequent falling boulders that accentuate its raw and dramatic presence.
