Tagum City lit its 231-foot giant Christmas tree on November 21, 2025, at the City Hall Square, making it the tallest in the Philippines. This year’s tree is 29 feet taller than last year, continuing the city’s tradition of impressive holiday displays.

The tree features a fun carnival theme, including 189 hot air balloon decorations and a Ferris wheel-inspired top. At the base, visitors can enjoy carnival games, creating a festive experience for families and tourists alike.

Spectacular Lights

Illumination for the tree includes 1,881 boxes of rice bulbs, 3,567 meters of rope lights, and 580 meters of LED strips. The lighting system has 25 channels and 138 combinations, creating a dazzling display that can be seen across the city.
