How To Get There?
Location: Barangay Sibulan, Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, Mindanao, Philippines
- Via Car: From Davao City, start your journey by heading south via Davao to Bukidnon Road or Diversion Road depending on your starting point. The drive to Barangay Calinan usually takes around 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then continue towards the Baguio District following the road signs leading to Barangay Marilog. Once in Barangay Marilog, you’ll find signage or locals who can guide you toward the jump-off point to Tomari Falls. The total travel time by car can take around 1 to 2 hours depending on the traffic and road conditions.
- Via Commute: From Davao City, start by taking a jeepney or bus bound for Barangay Calinan. The travel time takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. From Barangay Calinan, transfer to another jeepney or bus heading toward Barangay Marilog. Once you arrive in Barangay Marilog, ask locals or the driver to drop you off near the designated jump-off point for Tomari Falls. From there, you can hire a habal-habal to get closer to the trailhead as some roads are rough and best navigated on two wheels. The entire commute typically takes at least 2 to 3 hours offering you a mix of urban and rural scenery before you trek to the falls.
