How To Get There?

Location: Barangay Pangasugan, Baybay City, Leyte, Eastern Visayas, Philippines

  • By Car: From Tacloban City, drive south toward Baybay City. The trip usually takes around 2 to 3 hours covering approximately 120 kilometers. Once in Baybay City, head toward the Visayas State University campus in Barangay Pangasugan which serves as the jump off point for treks and research visits to Mount Pangasugan. Private vehicles can be parked at designated areas.
  • By Commute: From Tacloban City, ride a bus or van bound for Baybay City. Travel time takes about 3 hours. Upon arriving in Baybay City proper, take a tricycle or local transport going to Visayas State University in Barangay Pangasugan. From there, you can arrange guides or join organized hikes to explore Mount Pangasugan.
