“Maka-enjoy gyud ka sa ka cute sa mga Macaque sa Oslob”

It does bring joy seeing these cute monkeys. The Oslob’s Macaques belong to the genus Macaca “Macaca fascicularis” ; their special feature is their long tails. Tourists can also observe them in their natural habitat in the sanctuary in Sitio Bulak, Barangay Hagdan, Oslob.
HOMPFA

Hagdan Oslob Monkey Protectors and Farmers Association is an organization committed to protecting the cute, long-tailed macaques in their environment. The organization is also promoting eco-tourism, such as an encounter with the macaques by feeding them and observing their behaviours. “Did you know?” that macaques are highly social animals that live in a group that is called a troop. The HOMPFA also supports local farmers by reducing damaged crops caused by the monkeys in the area.
