Mount Apo
The highest mountain in the Philippines, located on the border of Davao City and Davao del Sur. It offers several trails with stunning panoramic views from the summit. Many mountaineering organizations offer guided tours to Mount Apo, which include transportation from Davao City — a convenient option, especially for first-time climbers. The best time to climb Mount Apo is during the dry season, which runs from December to April, to avoid heavy rainfall and muddy trails.

Lake Sebu

- Bus via Koronadal: Take a bus from Davao City Ecoland Bus Terminal to Koronadal, South Cotabato. From Koronadal, take another bus to Lake Sebu. The total journey takes approximately 5 hours and 45 minutes and costs around ₱708–₱957.
- Bus via Tupi: Another option is to take a bus from Davao City Ecoland Bus Terminal to Tupi, South Cotabato, and then transfer to another bus heading to Lake Sebu. The journey takes approximately 4 hours and 52 minutes and costs around ₱1,200–₱1,700.
- Driving: If you have access to a car, you can drive a distance of 185 km, which takes around 3 hours and 20 minutes. This option offers scenic views along the way.
Tinago Falls
Located in Iligan City, this hidden natural waterfall is accessible by a winding staircase and offers a refreshing escape from the city landscape. Tinago Falls, a stunning waterfall on the Agus River, lies between Linamon town and Iligan City in Lanao del Norte, Mindanao. The name “tinago” translates to “hidden” in Filipino. The falls are nestled in a secluded ravine.

Mount Katinglad
Another peak in Bukidnon, this mountain is known for its challenging trails and stunning views from the summit. Mount Katinglad is an inactive volcano located in the Katinglad Mountain Range in the Province of Bukidnon and 4th highest mountain in the Philippines.
