Dam-agan Falls, located in Dimiao, Bohol, is a natural escape where two cascading waterfalls meet a wide, refreshing pool. Its name, Dam Agan, means “to crash” or “collide” in Visayan, a fitting description as the water powerfully plunges into the pool below. Visitors can swim, jump off natural ledges, or float gently on a bamboo raft that locals have set up for relaxation. Dam-agan Falls is a spot that balances adventure with tranquility.

Best Time to Visit

The falls are best visited during the dry season, from November to May, when the trail is easier to navigate and the water is clear and inviting. Rainy months can make the trail slippery and the river current strong, so caution is advised. Morning visits are recommended to avoid crowds and enjoy the soft sunlight filtering through the trees.
