Beauty Shaped By Nature

According to geological studies about Northern Samar, many rock formations in the province were formed through long-term natural processes such as wave erosion, tectonic movement, and weathering. These slowly carved the rocks, giving them their rugged and layered appearance.

Because Nabunglayan is located near the sea, the continuous movement of waves plays a role in shaping the rocks. Over time, the seawater and strong winds help smooth and reshape the surface of the formations. This makes the site not only beautiful but also important in understanding the natural environment of Eastern Visayas.
